Mudi River in peril

As Mudi River flows out of the majestic Mudi dam near Blantyre, Malawi, the water is a clear and its volume is small. Yet as the river flows through Makata industrial area of Blantyre, the water begins to dirty and the volume vastly increases thanks to the harmful consignments of chemical discharge spewing from the industries lining the rivers banks.
