In cities across the nation, the foreclosure crisis finds homeowners and their families being evicted from houses and pushed out of neighborhoods where they’ve lived for years. Set in motion by a housing bubble and a damaged job market, this plague of evictions has been exacerbated by the fraudulent behavior of financial institutions and the refusal of banks to reformat their rules and regulations to find best-case-scenario solutions for lenders and homeowners alike.
