Urgent action required to end the persecution of Hungary’s homeless

Despite international pressure and protests at home, the Hungarian Parliament recently voted for constitutional reform that makes it possible to ban people from “habitually residing in public places”. It was a move widely criticised and at a seminar in Budapest campaigners said there must be an end to the criminalisation and persecution of homeless people.
