Every day has its dog

Big Issue North - UK 17 August 2019

Selling a street paper can be a lonely job. Some vendors find that having a four - in one case, three - legged friend can be a vital source of companionship and mutual support. Big Issue North vendors introduce their canine friends and explain what an important part their pets play in their lives. “He’s come to mean everything to me. When I was homeless, he was the reason I kept going,” says vendor Chris about his beloved three-legged dog George. (1197 Words) - By Christian Lisseman
