The survey so many count on

 The Contributor - USA 09 March 2019

Denver Voice reporter Sarah Ford joins a team of street outreach officers as they conduct a homeless count across the Denver Metro area of Colorado, USA on January 26, the national night of the annual Point-In- Time (PIT) Survey. Run by the Housing and Urban Development office, the PIT gives a snapshot of homelessness in communities nationwide. It helps to collate targeted and reliable data that will help service providers, government agencies, and nonprofits connect Denver’s homeless with valuable resources. Last year’s count recorded 5,812 homeless men, women and children in the seven county Metro Denver area. (1703 Words) - By Sarah Ford
