Mitch Albom is an American best-selling author, journalist and musician. His books have sold over 35 million copies worldwide, and his 1997 autobiographical novel Tuesdays with Morrie topped the New York Times bestsellers list for 205 weeks. Albom has since gone on to use his writing to help the homeless and impoverished in Detroit, Michigan and abroad.
