Big banks see the need to shrink – but face a path full of obstacles

The U.S. Federal Reserve is demanding the global break up of big banks. While no senior bankers want to be split up or downsized, many acknowledge that their institutions might be better off smaller and simpler. Yet there could be major barriers to restructuring, they say.
